Javier Bayon
Javier Gimeno-Bayón (Barcelona, 1980) is a film composer and orchestrator specializing in music for film and advertising. After composing for short films while studying Neuroscience, he trained under Leon Willett, Joan Albert Amargós, and Lluís Vergés. In 2014, he co-founded Summer76music, an international music production company whose clients include Coca-Cola, Volkswagen, Red Bull, and Nike.
As an orchestrator, he has collaborated with acclaimed artists and composers including Javier Navarrete, Ludovico Einaudi, and Pharrell Williams, and contributed to the Oscar-nominated, Palme d’Or-winning short film Timecode.
His work has also included collaborations with directors such as Darren Lynn Bousman, Icíar Bollaín, and Kike Maíllo. His scores have received international recognition, including Best Original Score at the Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia for 10 Miles to Bisbee and the Golden Eye Award for Best International Film Music at the Zurich Film Festival.
