Iratxe Ibaibarriaga
Iratxe Ibaibarriaga is a composer and cellist specializing in modern classical and film music. Her work blends the expressive sound of the cello with rich string writing and orchestral textures, with melody at the heart of her distinctive musical voice.
Her music can be heard in short films, feature films, television series, and video games, where she has developed a unique musical language that bridges visual storytelling and emotional depth.
She trained at some of Europe’s most prestigious music institutions, studying at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague and the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp. She later specialized in composition for audiovisual media by completing the Master’s Degree in Film Scoring at ESMUC (Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya).
She collaborates with international studios, production companies, and publishers, including The Nun Factory Studio and VOLV Music. Her music has been featured in international advertising campaigns and gaming projects worldwide.
